The best way to acquaint yourself with the Alpha School is to visit.  When you see our school "in action", you see us at our best   Prospective parents are invited to tour the facilities with our Admissions Director who will facilitate the enrollment/orientation process.

We suggest that interested parents make their appointments the fall prior to their application unless interested in kindergarten.  In the case of kindergarten, it is suggested that the enrollment process begin eighteen to twenty four months before your child turns five.  Kindergarten students should be five before September 1 of the year entering the Alpha School.  Prospective students for grades two through eight are welcomed to spend a school day with Alpha students.  The opportunity to attend a regular school day is a wonderful to way to ensure Alpha will be a "good fit' for your child.  The Admissions Office may be contacted by calling 412-366-4455.

Alpha is unable to honor IEPS of 504 plans. Such documents, as well as school psychological evaluations, discipline files, court involvement, educational evaluations and standardized test results must be shared with the school in order to complete application.
