APTA
Providence Heights Alpha School Parent/Teacher Association (APTA) is an active organization that is highly involved in the life of the Alpha School. Membership is open to all parents and members of the faculty.

Mission Statement
The mission of the APTA is to support the administration and teachers in providing an environment that develops educational excellence with a strong spiritual foundation.

This support is demonstrated through:

  • Promoting a partnership between the family and the school
  • Supporting activities and programs that develop academic excellence
  • Funding activities, innovative programs, and teacher-based activities as identified by the administration
  • Volunteering support services for activities for the Alpha community
  • Developing the compassion and servant leadership grounded in the values of the Sisters of Divine Providence

Activities
The APTA sponsors a myriad of activities in support of its mission and purpose.
Swim and lunchroom monitors, field trip chaperones, and homeroom parents are some of the activities involving APTA volunteers.
