Tuition / Financial Aid
Tuition for the 2011-12 academic year has been set at $7,390.00. Tuition for the following year will be established in February. There are two payment options available to our families. The first requires a deposit due March 1 and payment in full by April 15. With this option families realize a $100.00 discount. The second plan requires a March 1 deposit and monthly payments completed by November 1.
Tuition does not cover all the expenses for Providence Heights Alpha School. The school relies on income from parent fundraisers, the Principal's Annual Appeal, which seeks voluntary contributions from parents, alumni and other sources, as well as the sponsorship of the Sisters of Divine Providence, to keep the tuition at affordable levels.
Financial Aid
There is a limited amount of tuition aid available through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Credit Program, and the Diocese of Pittsburgh's Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship (SOS) Plan. Applicants must be current students in good financial standing with the Alpha School and submit a completed scholastic Opportunity Scholarship application to the Private School Aid Service as well as the Alpha School.
