Alpha Parent-Teacher Association
The Providence Heights Alpha Parent-Teacher Association (APTA) is
an active organization that is highly involved in the life of the
Alpha School. Membership is open to all parents and members of
the faculty.
Mission/Purpose
The mission of the APTA is to support the administration and
teachers in providing an environment that develops educational
excellence with a strong spiritual foundation.
The purpose of the Providence Heights APTA is to offer support to
and foster the growth of the Providence Heights Alpha School by
calling upon the skills, creativity and commitment of its members:
1) To
Promote partnership between the family/home and faculty/school.
2) To
benefit the students and support activities related to academic
excellence, by helping to seek funds for innovative programs,
teacher-based activities, and development of programs identified
by the administration.
3) To
volunteer support services and organize activities for the Alpha
community.
4) To
follow through as competent and compassionate people grounded in
the Divine Providence value of spirituality.

Activities
The APTA undertakes, supports and sponsors a myriad of activities
in support of our mission and purpose. The range of our
activities and depth of our commitment to volunteerism is
evidenced by the leaders whose responsibilities are as follows for
