2020 Carson Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to 8th grade student, James Orlando. James was selected as the 2020 Alpha School nominee for the Ben Carson Scholarship Award. He proceeded to submit an application and we were delighted to hear of his success in being selected! This national organization, founded by Dr. Ben Carson and his wife Candy, awards students who have embraced high levels of academic excellence and community service with $1,000 college scholarships.

The live Award ceremony was cancelled this year due to state wide shut down but James and his family did attend a virtual event.
