Authentic World War I Gear Brings History to Life for 8th Graders

Thanks to Tim Neff, Vice President/Director of Museum & Education at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum, World War I "came to life" for our 8th grade students. They had the chance to see authentic uniforms, helmets, gas masks, and other items that U.S. soldiers used to fight in the war. Thanks to Mr. Neff, the students had a unique experience that helped them bear witness to a historical event that they may only have learned about through books or old movies. We appreciate Mr. Neff's donation of his time to make such a great impact on our 8th graders!
