Alpha School Summer Camps - 2020!

Alpha School's 40 acre campus provides a wonderful backdrop for summer.

Summer Music Lessons

with Mr. Dugan

Students in grades Kindergarten to 8th can take music lessons with

Mr. Colin Dugan, full time music teacher at the Alpha School. 

INSTRUMENT: Guitar or Ukelele, Beg-Int

Students will learn the fundamentals of guitar or recorder, some basic music theory, and will practice and play songs and pieces appropriate for their specific skill level. Students with prior playing knowledge will continue to build on what they know, with mastery goals set by both the student and instructor. 

 

 

COMPOSITION: Musical Composition / Song-Writing, Beg-Int 

Students will learn about the musical elements and concepts that coalesce to make the musical works with which they are familiar, i.e. pop music, classical, and how they can organize those elements and concepts in order to create unique musical works of their very own. This subject will be taught mainly using Mac computer programs, i.e. GarageBand and Logic X Pro, but will also incorporate non-digital musical experiences that are essential to the art of composition.

 

PRODUCTION: Music Production, Int- Adv

Advanced Students, or students who already have original music written, may be most interested in this program; the art of how to take raw, but mostly complete, song/piece and make it 'radio-ready'. will learn how to take a raw, but mostly complete song/piece, and make it “radio” ready. This subject will also be taught using mainly Mac computers.

SESSION A: June 15th-July 3rd

SESSION B: July 6th-July 24th

SESSION C: July 27th-August 21st

(AUGUST 3-7 NO LESSONS SCHEDULED DUE TO VACATION)

SESSION COST: $65 per session (Can purchase multiple sessions)

Client has the freedom to choose ideal weekly lesson time with the instructor via email after purchase.

Lessons will be held at Providence Heights Alpha School, main building, Tuesday through Friday, any time between 10AM and 5PM. Payment is made to Providence Heights Alpha School.

Cost for one course is $170.

Cost for both courses in your grade section is $360

BEACH CAMP

with Ms. Lauren Walters

Current PreK 4 year old to rising 1st grade

JUNE 8 - 12

9 - 11 AM

$175 per camper

Come for a week of beach themed, fun in the sun activities.

 

Challenger International Soccer Camp 

 

CIS will be running a camp at Alpha on
June 15th-19th, 2020

These Camps are taught by qualified

International Soccer Coaches
 

Programs are as follows:

 

Tiny Tykes; ages 3-5, 8:15am-9am. $95

The Tiny Tykes Program will provide fundamental soccer activities, games, and stories, designed to develop technical skills along with physical and social development.
 

Half Day Program; ages 7-12, 9am-12pm. $175

The Half Day Program is our most popular program and will provide 3 hours of world class skill development and games each day

Full Day Program; ages 7-12. 9am-4pm. $250

Full day campers pack a lunch

The Full Day Program will include the Half Day curriculum followed by an afternoon of further skill development, coached scrimmages, skill challenges and more. 

Challenger International Soccer combines elements of the two types of industry leading soccer camp programs, British Soccer and TetraBrazil, integrating them with a collection of the most effective soccer practices used by youth teams around the world.
