Alpha School Students Connect With Students in Africa

Students in the 1st and 3rd grade have been making some new friends. Last year, they were introduced to Miss Mimi. She came to ask for their help and to tell them all about a group of wonderful children in the village of Tamssin, Africa. Miss Mimi and her sisters have recently opened a school there to give these children the chance to get an education. The Alpha Students and the children in Tamssin became penpals.

Before long, the Alpha studnets learned that their penpals were in need of toys, and clothing. They organized a clothing drive at the end of last school year and then sent their packages on a months long journey across the globe. Recently, Miss Mimi came for another visit to share photos of the packages arriving and delivered some more letters.
