'Totality' Cool—Celebrating the Historic Eclipse

We celebrated the solar eclipse through a variety of activities leading up to the historic event. The highlight was WPXI-TV's meteorologist Scott Harbaugh's presentation to all of our students. A Channel 11 news photographer accompanied him, and our school was highlighted in a piece that aired on April 8.

We also made decorative shields for our solar eclipse sunglasses. These artistic shields offered extra protection for our eyes. In addition, some of our students, faculty, and staff traveled to Erie and other northern locations to witness the daylight turning into night during the eclipse's peak. It was a "totality"awesome once-in-a-lifetime event!
