How Irrational—Alpha Students Celebrate Pi Day!

Well...our students may be rational, but they celebrated the irrational number represented by the pi symbol on March 14! Thanks to math teacher Ms. Shick, who always finds a way to make learning about numbers so much fun, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders had the chance to solve problems using pi. They also had the opportunity to celebrate the day with their invited guests and enjoy delicious pies a the same time.

Pi Day wouldn't be such a success without the participation of our parents, guests, and the LaRoche University Teaching Department. A huge thanks to Ms. Shick for organizing this wonderful event and keeping this Alpha tradition alive.
