It's a Slam Dunk....

...for both Alpha School and REL Academy! Our school is collaborating with REL Academy! Founded I 2013 by James Rel Barton, REL Academy is an elite basketball program that has been preparing basketball players for high school, college, and professional levels for more than 10 years. This partnership will offer our current and future student athletes a new and unique basketball experience with REL Academy while still participating on Alpha School's basketball teams with the Diocese.

Players in third and fourth grades will focus on learning the basics of the game, teamwork, and developing their skills. Players in the fifth through eighth grades will focus on a deeper understanding of strategic gameplay, while building strength and athleticism. Students at this level will also be eligible for selection on one of REL Academy's Elite Middle School teams.

Athletes will have the chance to practice and learn from outstanding basketball coaches to improve their basketball IQ, game knowledge, and athletic performance. The partnership with REL Academy provides our athletes with the convenience to participate in sessions in our school gym, Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
